Workshop Cleaning in Swansea
Workshops get dirty by nature. The job is keeping them safe underfoot and presentable where customers can see.
Nobody expects a workshop to look like an office. What customers do notice is the bit they stand in: the reception, the waiting area, the toilet they get sent to while they wait.
The other half of the job is the floor. Oil, swarf and grease underfoot is a slip risk before it is an appearance problem, and walkways are usually the first thing to get overlooked when a workshop is busy.
We work around live jobs. Tools and benches stay exactly where your fitters left them unless you tell us otherwise. Moving somebody’s setup causes more problems than a dusty bench ever did.
What the work usually includes
Exactly what's included is agreed at the site visit. This is the usual starting point.
Customer reception and waiting
The area customers actually sit in, kept presentable through the day.
Toilets and welfare
Cleaned, sanitised and restocked, for staff and for customers.
Floors and walkways
Swept and cleaned, with pedestrian routes kept clear underfoot.
Office areas
Desks, glass and floors in the office attached to the workshop.
Communal and bench areas
Shared surfaces wiped down, with tool setups left untouched.
Glass and frontage
Internal glass and the entrance customers come through.
How we approach a working workshop
- Live jobs are left alone. We clean around vehicles and work in progress.
- Tools and benches stay as your fitters left them unless you ask otherwise.
- Walkways and customer areas take priority, because that is where risk and reputation sit.
- Heavy degreasing or specialist plant cleaning is quoted separately, if it is needed at all.
- Timing is agreed around opening hours so we are not in the way of a busy day.
What clients say
Real words from businesses we clean for.

By far the best cleaning company we have used. They are reliable, professional and always do a fantastic job. We can rely on them every time, and the standard of their work is excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Really pleased we decided on Celtic cleaning. We were having problems with odour from male toilets which they eradicated. We are happy with the cleaning standards and supervision, and on top of that they never miss a shift. Highly recommend them.

Asked about this service
Will you move our tools or equipment?
No, not unless you ask us to. Benches and tool setups are left as they are. We clean around live jobs, and anything you want handled differently is agreed at the site visit.
Can you deal with oil and grease on the floor?
Routine floor cleaning is part of the job. Heavy degreasing is a bigger piece of work, so if that is what the floor needs we will tell you when we visit and price it separately rather than pretend a mop will fix it.
Do you clean the customer-facing areas separately?
Often, yes. Plenty of workshops want reception, the waiting area and the toilets done daily, with the workshop floor on a lower frequency. That split is agreed when we visit.
