This policy explains what we do with personal information you give us through this website. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal language.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you fill in the enquiry form, that is:

  • Your name and phone number, which are required so we can call you back.
  • Your business name and email address, if you give them.
  • Details about your premises: type, size, how often you need cleaning, washrooms, number of people on site, preferred times and any extras.
  • Anything you write in the message box, and how you heard about us.

If you phone or email instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use it for one thing: to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and give you a quote. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.

Who else sees it

  • Web3Forms processes enquiry form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
  • Our email provider holds the resulting email, as it would any other message.
  • Our website host serves the pages and keeps standard server logs.

We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking and no social media pixels, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

Fonts and images are served from our own website rather than from a third party, so your visit is not reported to anyone else.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to work, we keep it for up to 24 months in case you come back to us, then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the period we are expected to keep business and accounting records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • provide it in a portable format.

Email us and we will deal with it. Normally that takes a few days and never more than one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator at ico.org.uk.

Keeping it secure

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We ask for the minimum we need to quote for your premises, and we do not take payment details through this website.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
